[fwlug] Default Package Manager in SUSE 9

Anyone know how to install software from the repositories in SuSE 9 from a
shell?
I'm looking for a apt-get, yum, or pacman equivalent.
According to http://susewiki.org/index.php?title=SMART_Package_Manager suse
9 is too old to install SMART.
