Fort Wayne Linux Users' Group Meeting

March 19: Canterbury High School, Computer lab, 7:00 PM.

Meeting Info

Main Presentation

Void your warranty with the Fort Wayne LUG

Routers, storage units, even your trusty Tivo - an ever increasing number of devices either run Linux and can be tweaked and modified or they *can* run Linux with some tinkering. The catch is that such tweaking, modifying, jail-breaking, or hacking will usually *gasp* void the warranty.

If you've ever done that to a device (or just want to live vicariously), join us in our celebration of the voided warranty. Bring out your device and your tales of hacking and tweaking, or just come out and revel in sheer lawlessness and rebellion of it all.

If you have a device hack you'd be willing to talk about, let Vern know if you can (for planning purposes), but all hacks are welcome as long as they involve Linux on some kind of device.

Date, Time and Location

We are meeting on March 19, 7:00 PM at [WWW]Canterbury High School, in the computer lab. The presentations take about an hour, and people generally hang around afterwards to chat.

If you are coming from outside Fort Wayne, here's a [WWW]Google Map and a [WWW]Yahoo! Map and [WWW]driving directions that will lead you to the general area.

Parking is available in the rear parking lot - enter the back doors, go straight to the end of the hall, turn right, then left, go past the office, then left. The Computer lab is straght ahead across the student commons.
