Modeling Molecules with Linux, by John McElvey.
John McElvey will be telling us how he uses a homebrew Linux cluster to do what you used to need a supercomputer for - modeling the behavior of chemical compounds. It promises to be a fascinating look at Linux in scientific computing.

We are meeting on June 20, 7:00 PM at
Canterbury High School, in the computer lab. The presentations take about an hour, and people generally hang around afterwards to chat.
