1. How long do meetings last?
Meetings usually last from 7:00pm to 8:30-9:00pm
2. How many people come to LUG meetings?
Attendance is in the 10-20 range at the moment (Nov, 2005)
3. Where are meetings?
Meetings are usually at Canterbury High School, 3210 Smith Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46804. Maps are available ![[WWW]](/wiki/rsgrey/img/moin-www.png)
at Google and at Yahoo
4. What happens at meetings?
There is usually a presentation by a member or guest on a technical topic, followed by either an informal "lightning talk" on some other subject or informal discussion, problem solving, story swapping etc.
5. Are the meetings open to the public?
Completely. Everyone who is interested in Linux and Open Source Software is welcome, regardless of technical experience...
6. Is there any charge for attending meetings?
There is no charge at all. We don't even have membership dues at this time.
7. So how would I become a member?
Join our mailing list and come to meetings. If you want to get more involved, offer to give a talk, write a book review, or offer your ideas and input.
